Posted

LABELLE-  Andrew Jones, Manager of Frost Accounting Services, LLC, became a CPA in 2010 and has been establishing a client base in the South Florida area ever since.

“Frost is a full service CPA firm with a primary focus in food and agribusiness (F&A). Established in in Little Rock, AR, Frost has put together a diverse team that uniquely addresses the needs of the F&A industry across the United States, currently in 47 states. Frost also handles clients in government, not-for-profit, construction, medical and financial services,” explained Jones.

They provide services for a range of clients, from individuals to billion dollar organizations. Locally Hope to serve anyone who is searching for help in achieving their financial goals as eciently as possible.

“Small business owners and agriculture firms are my specialty. I provide value as a Trusted Advisor when I can see the whole financial picture of my customer,” said Jones.

Born and raised in Clewiston, Jones is a fourth generation Floridian. After graduating from Clewiston High School in 2002, and the University of Florida four years later. He also attended Florida Atlantic University and earned a Masters degree in Accounting. After several years of living in Richmond Hill, GA and then Fort Myers, Jones says he and his family are delighted to be back home in LaBelle.

“While working with two Fortune 500 corporations gave me some invaluable work training and experience, the time away gave us a deeper appreciation for the place where we both grew up,” said Jones. “We came home in May of 2018 with a renewed love and appreciation for our friends, our family, and for our community.”

“I’m proud of the many years of hard work and sacrifice that all of the family members before me put in here for several generations,” Jones explained. “Starting with my grandfather Thomas Jones in the 1940’s, their life’s work has focused primarily on agriculture and education. My Uncle Tom Conner was Superintendent of Schools and father-in-law Tristan Chapman was a Florida Citrus Commissioner.

My mom Mary Ann Jones and mother-in-law Donna and wife Lindsay spent many years in the Hendry County classroom. My sister Rachel works today as a nurse with the Hendry County School system.”

Jones said he is excited about the opportunity to join with Frost, to further establish and grow his presence in Florida, “with a particular focus on what has been the bedrock of our community, agriculture.” Jones went on, “For over 45 years, Frost, PLLC has been providing personalized, high-quality financial services, reputable, reliable advice and staff that our clients can count on with a primary focus in the food and agribusiness industries nationwide.”

Jones said that he is proud of joining a firm that can provide expertise across a broad range of client needs, “My 10 years working for large firms like Arthrex and Herc Rentals are my personal dierentiating factors. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from leaders in their industry. I want to bring that experience to my customers.”

On a personal note, Jones said he will always be appreciative of the people in this community who stepped in to help guide him when he was 10 years old and lost his father to cancer, “Not just family but friends and parents of friends. I will always appreciate and feel a deep sense of responsibility to give back to our community going forward.”

Jones found it hard to nail down just one thing he loves about LaBelle, “The river, the oaks, the location close to a larger population base, the rural history of the town.” He added, “With all of that said, my favorite thing is the people. It’s a diverse group of people from dierent backgrounds, some have been here for generations and some for only a year. They’ve made the decision to call LaBelle home like I have. I think that’s pretty cool.”

Jones said one of his favorite things about what he does is helping people make financial decisions that can have large impacts on their lives.

“I’ve been blessed to have learned from some very accomplished professionals. My goal is to use that knowledge to help businesses succeed in our community and throughout the state,” he said. “This could be help with tax planning, estate and/or succession planning, business strategy, as well as tax and audit services.”

“My personal philosophy is the Golden Rule. Treat others like you would want to be treated,” said Jones. “I try to be empathetic to the experience others have gone through and seek to understand their motivations.”

“I’m passionate about providing value to my customers,” he added. “I am particularly passionate about the viability of agriculture and rural ways of life throughout our country. This is my way to contribute to that viability.”

His hopes for the future, “That Frost PLLC’s knowledge and vast resources give me a stronger platform to provide solutions to the challenges agriculture and other small business owners face over the coming years. I am excited about the opportunity.”
