• Ribbon cutting - on Friday, Feb. 5 at noon celebrating the new location for “Our Village” at 205 NE 2nd Street (old Bass funeral home). If you missed their Sneak peak preview, this will be a great time to check out the new space which includes retail items, art work and other household goods. You’ll be able to shop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and purchase as you tour the facility and snack on some light pre-packaged refreshments. Please consider donating any type of good household items, those that are in good condition and ones that you would want to purchase as second hand/used yourself. You can certainly donate new household items as well. No clothing can be accepted. Don’t miss out on this celebration and learn more about Our Village and all that they do for our community and those in need. Be sure and be prompt at noon to be a part of the official ribbon cutting and photo opportunity.
