• Ribbon Cutting/Grand Opening event: In January, TowBoatUS Lake Allatoona, Georgia, was awarded “Tower of the Year” at the annual gathering of the nationwide TowBoatUS on-water towing and assistance fleet. Today, the company’s owner, Capt. Chris Day, is growing his 24-hour service that helps boaters get safely home after a breakdown by adding two additional locations, TowBoatUS Lake Okeechobee and TowBoatUS LaBelle. The Lake Okeechobee outfit will hold a Grand Opening Ceremony on Thursday, May 20, at their launch location Taylor Creek RV Resort, 2730 U.S. 441 S.E., at noon All are invited to celebrate with Captain Chris Day and Crew for launching this new venture! • After Hours - Ready to chill and grill? Florida Outdoors RV Country, located at 4300 U.S. 441 South next to KOA, is hosting the Chamber Business After Hours on Thursday, May 27, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Come tour the property, and learn about all the services Florida Outdoors has to offer. Taylor Marie is excited to share her studio location and give visitors tour of the facility as she explains about the various types and times of classes her business offers. “We’ll have light refreshments & finger foods.
