• Are you ready to talk fast, sharing some information? On Thursday, July 29 at 5 p.m. the Chamber of Commerce will host our July After Hours at the Brown Cow Sweetery. Have you ever had the experience of speed dating? Well this will be a fun event where instead of speed dating, we will be speed networking. A great way for each of us to learn a little more about each person in attendance. We’ve had one other speed networking event back in February and it was great. So much was learned about each other. We will have cards made up with questions that you can use to ask of each person, or you can prepare them ahead of time, or just use whatever questions comes to mind as you meet them. Your choice, just make it fun and informative. We will be following CDC guidelines by social distancing. Don’t miss out on the fun, come join in the speed networking event. Be sure and bring your business cards and brochures.

• The Chamber is excited to invite you to attend our upcoming ribbon cutting on Aug. 11 at noon at the business of Hoskins, Turco, Lloyd & Lloyd. Due to their new office opening last year in the middle of the pandemic, there was not an opportunity for us to help them officially celebrate. The office was previously by appointment only and they are pleased to announce that their office is now fully open to the public. As a new business in town, they would like to invite you to join in their ribbon cutting celebration on Aug. 11 at noon at 1910 South Parrott Avenue. Light refreshments will be available. Don’t miss out on welcoming them to our business community and get in on that photo opportunity. All of our events are open to the public.
