OKEECHOBEE - A town hall meeting and candidate forum for the city council election will be held on Monday, March 22 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Freshman Campus. 610 S.W. Second Avenue.
City Administrator Marcos Montes de Oca will provide updates on current and future projects.
City Attorney John Fumero will give a progress report on the charter review committee meetings.
City Council and staff will receive comments/questions from the community.
Immediately following the town hall meeting, the four candidates for city council will be available for questions/comments from the audience.
The special election will be held at the Roc on May 4.
