City police officers visit RSCA

OKEECHOBEE — Rock Solid Christian Academy students sit enthralled as Sgt. Skip Eddings and Officer Jessica Francis, along with K9 Officer Luna, teach them important things like knowing their home address, police are good and that they shouldn’t hide from the police when they come to their home to help them. They also taught them how to call 911 and what to say, and then, they went outside to see two patrol cars. Sgt. Eddings even gave them a cute little badge and some stickers. They loved getting to pet K9 Luna, who is specially trained to sniff out drugs. They also enjoyed seeing the car light up. The most popular question asked of Sgt. Eddings was if his gun was real, said kindergarten teacher Samantha Walters.
