OKEECHOBEE -- The new state vaccination preregistration plan at myvaccine.fl.gov was announced on Thursday, Jan. 28 by state officials, with no advance warning to Okeechobee County, according to Mitch Smeykal of the Emergency Operations Center.
He said for this coming week, Okeechobee County will use a different method for making vaccination appointments, which will be announced on Monday (Feb. 1).
