OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee City Police Department greatly appreciates the donation from David McCormick, owner of Tire Zone. Recently, the police department asked for donations to help with training exercises, and Tire Zone was very generous. McCormick said he likes to see the local police department active in the community. This is the type of thing he likes to contribute towards, as he knows how important training and equipment can be. "I know the money will be put to good use, and it gives much more to our community through out police department as a whoole," he said.
