Dust Off Your Cowboy Boots - The Rodeo's Back

INDIANTOWN – Excitement is booming in Indiantown with thoughts of thundering hooves stirring up dust – the 2021 Indiantown Rodeo is back. Get ready for the Wild West in action Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15 – 16, at Timer Powers Park Stadium on Citrus Boulevard. Bull riding, bronc busting, steer wrestling, calf roping and much more are brought to you by the Indiantown Chamber of Commerce and this year’s presenting sponsor, US Sugar. According to the recent Chamber of Commerce announcement, the family-friendly outdoor event is better than ever and here to stay.

On Sept. 1, a limited number of tickets will be made available to the public at $18 each at select Seacoast National Bank locations. So, get yours before they disappear. The price at the gate will be $25 if they're not sold out. Children 5-years old and under are admitted free of charge.

The popular events and performances are the "real deal." The professional cowboys and cowgirls involved compete in events authorized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women's Pro Rodeo Association. These associations set the competition standards for timing, the technique for qualifying for the national finals, and proper treatment and care of rodeo livestock. The rodeo is a slice of American history and heritage. It allows audiences to view the lifestyle of the American Cowboy who tamed wild horses and cattle on the range.

Spectators are welcome on the grounds at 5 p.m., before the main event at 7:30 p.m. Grab dinner or a snack and enjoy some family time while exploring the visiting vendor's wares. Then, let the children investigate the award-winning "Kids Corral," where dozens of kid-friendly, rodeo-themed activities await children ages 3 – 12.

The Indiantown Rodeo was chosen twice previously by the Southeast Tourism Society as one of the top 20-tourist events in the southeastern US. With its 70-plus year legacy, the Indiantown Rodeo continues to "evolve, educate and entertain all ages."
