Economic Council of Okeechobee holds first luncheon of the year

OKEECHOBEE — Members of the Economic Council of Okeechobee held their first luncheon business meeting of the year on March 3, at Indian River State College in Okeechobee County. Public officials from the City, County, SFWMD, and Okeechobee School District shared status reports from their respective agencies and the Council received a presentation from special guest Dr. Timothy Moore, President of Indian River State College. Dr. Moore shared his personal and professional background along with ways business and industry leaders can partner with the college for the benefit of the community.
