OKEECHOBEE — Everglades Elementary School presented ‘Pumpkins on Parade’ on Thursday, Oct. 28, as part of its annual Halloween event. Students could decorate a pumpkin like one of their favorite book characters and the pumpkins were put on display in the school’s media center. Parents and their students were able to walk through and enjoy all of the beautiful and creative pumpkins as well as do some trick-or-treating at the various stops set up throughout the campus.
