Eye doctor offers free exams for those in need

Posted

OKEECHOBEE – Dr. Christine Bishop and Dr. J Patrick Brennan at Brennan Eye Care in Okeechobee will provide free eye care for those in need on Dec. 14.

“This is the time of year that makes all of us realize our blessings and we at Brennan Eye Care would like to give back to those less fortunate. On Dec. 14, our office will be providing eye care for those in need. This is the 11th year we have decided to provide free eye exams for 15 needy patients, and in conjunction with Treasure Coast Optometric Society we will be providing free eyewear,” explained Dr. Bishop. “If you are aware of a person in need, please have them stop by Brennan Eye Care, 710 South Parrott Avenue in Okeechobee, to fill out an application and return it to our office by Dec. 9. An officer of the Optometric Society will screen the applications so that those most in need will be selected. We hope to make this holiday season a little brighter for our community.”
