FORT PIERCE — Students interested in attending Indian River State College (IRSC) this fall may register for classes beginning Monday, May 16. Full-term fall classes start on Aug. 17, and courses of varying lengths start throughout the semester. Both returning and prospective students alike are encouraged to register early for the best selection of classes and times.

Courses may be viewed by searching the IRSC course schedule online. The College offers more than 100 programs, from short-term career and technical training to Associate Degree programs to Bachelor’s Degree programs.

“Each year, IRSC provides a pathway to higher education and rewarding careers for thousands of students who seek brighter futures for themselves and their families,” shares Elizabeth Gaskin, Vice President for Student Success. “IRSC offers flexibility with day, evening and online courses. No matter your other obligations, IRSC will help you make your educational journey a priority.”

IRSC continues to strengthen the availability of student resources and wrap-around services critical for student success. It is the only college anywhere to provide the entire Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft 365 and Wolfram Technologies suite of tools to all students at no cost. Students also have access to 12 Bloomberg Terminals at the College’s Fort Pierce Campus. Academic support, career services, mentoring programs, and military and veterans’ services are also freely available. Some campuses offer evening childcare assistance.

Financial aid is available to all who qualify, and 91% of IRSC students graduate without debt.

To apply for the fall term or register for class, visit irsc.edu or stop by the Student Success Centers at IRSC’s five IRSC campuses—Fort Pierce, Okeechobee, Port St. Lucie, Stuart and Vero Beach. Prospective students can also make appointments to meet with IRSC staff—Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Veterans Services, Career and Transfer Services, or Student Records—virtually or in person using QLess: irsc.edu/admissions/qless.html

Summer hours for all IRSC campuses are Monday through Thursday, 7: a.m. to 6:30 p.m. For more information or assistance, visit irsc.edu, email info@irsc.edu or contact the IRSC Student Communications Center at 866-792-4772. See the academic calendar for additional information about fall sessions.
