FDOH host NARCAN training course Oct. 21

OKEECHOBEE — Okeechobee County Florida Department of Health staff and personnel will carry NARCAN and initiate widespread public distribution.

A NARCAN training course will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Okeechobee Florida Department of Health, 1728 N.W. Ninth Ave.

Retired Boynton Beach firefighter/EMT Luis Garcia will be there to help train individuals on how to properly administer NARCAN.
