FHSRA holds Special Olympics Rodeo in Okeechobee

The Florida High School Rodeo Association (FHSRA) hosted members of the special needs community and Special Olympic Athletes from Okeechobee at the Agri-Civic Center on June 10. .

At the event, the high school athletes teamed up with a special needs person and they participated in stations like roping bull riding and horseback riding, stick horse barrels, stick horse poles, and goat ribbon pull. Event organizer Heather Class also treated participants to pizza, drinks, and snow cones afterwards.
