FHSRA to host Special Needs Rodeo on May 12

OKEECHOBEE — The Florida High School Rodeo Association (FHSRA) welcomes members of the special needs community and special olympic athletes from Okeechobee to the annual Special Needs Rodeo on Friday, May 12 at 1 p.m., at the Okeechobee Agri-Civic Center, 4601 S.R. 710 East.

High school athletes team up with a special needs person and they participate in stations featuring roping, bull riding, horseback riding, stick horse barrels, stick hor poles, and goat ribbon pull.

The Okeechobee High School Rodeo Team will be on hand to team up with a special needs person.

The sponsors are Florida High School Rodeo Association, The Okeechobee Rodeo Team, Autumn DeCarlo at Teez2 Pleez, Silver Spurs Rodeo, and Walpole Feed and Supply.
