The Florida Forest Service provides the following Wildfire Safety Tips:
• Do not drive your vehicles into tall grasses or through dry wooded areas.
• Be mindful when operating equipment outdoors that can create heat or sparks.

• When grilling, grill away from your home, deck railings and from under eaves and overhanging branches.
• Never leave your campfire or pile burn unattended.
• Always have a source of water and a shovel available in case your fire gets out.
• Call your local fire and forestry department for any burn restrictions in your area.
