Food bank distribution

Posted 11/23/20

OKEECHOBEE — The Treasure Coast Food Bank held their Holiday Mobile Food Pantry on Nov. 20, at the Okeechobee Ag Center. Over 662 cars were served in the two hour distribution. Each car was provided a turkey or a voucher to purchase a turkey, vegetable box, and holiday box to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. A special thanks to the Ag Center staff, Sheriff’s deputies, and Christ Fellowship, KOA staff, and other volunteers who loaded food into cars.
