OKEECHOBEE – On Friday, Nov 20, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., the Okeechobee County Schools Food Service Department, in partnership with Center Mass Gun Range and Our Village, will hold its first mobile food distribution.
Cars will line up at the Sports Complex (580 NW 27th Lane, between Yearling Middle and North Elementary) from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m.
There will be staff from Parks & Recreation, as well as the school food service department to help direct stage cars. They will send them down to the food service office (3150 NW 10th Terrace) five at a time to receive groceries.
This distribution is for Okeechobee County Schools’ families who have at least one student enrolled in the district, including Option 2 and Option 3 (online learning).
