Multiple games were either canceled or rescheduled as Hurricane Ian made landfall last week. Those that were able to reschedule will now face a short week as they played and game on Monday and have to turn around and play again on Friday.

Pahokee Blue Devils (4-2)

The Blue Devils fell to the Dwyer Panthers 14-12 on Oct. 3. That gives the Panthers back to back wins over the two teams from the muck, with their previous win over Glades Central. Pahokee will need to shake off the loss though, because the 3-2  Atlantic Eagles are coming to take on the Blue Devils on Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Moore Haven Terriers (3-2)

The Terriers last took down IMG Academy Blue 41-15 back on Sept. 22. Next the resurgent Moore Haven squad is set to travel to Belle Glade to take on the Glades Day Gators. Last season the Gators gave Moore Haven one of their biggest losses in school history, a 78-0 shutout. It won’t be that onesided this week. The Terriers hit the road to face the Gators at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Glades Central Raiders (2-4)

The Raiders had a bye that lined up with Hurricane Ian, so no game had to be canceled or rescheduled last week. Previously the Raiders fell short against the Dwyer Panthers, losing 21-18. This week they’re scheduled to host the undefeated Cardinal Newman Crusaders on Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Okeechobee Brahmans (1-4)

The Brahmans finally got to play another game after missing the last two weeks. Hurricane Ian nearly caused them to miss their third week in a row, but their game against Fort Pierce Westwood was rescheduled to Oct. 3. The Brahmans lost 21-14, but the previously out-of-sync offense looked much better against Westwood. Next the Brahmans are scheduled to travel to face Immokalee on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.

Glades Day Gators (1-4)

The Gators were also lucky to have their bye week scheduled right when Hurricane Ian was set to pass over Florida, so no games had to be canceled. Now they’ll host their rivals the Moore Haven Terriers at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6.

Clewiston Tigers (0-4)

The Tigers canceled their game against Wachula due to Hurricane Ian. In their last game they fell to a good Cardinal Newman team 42-7. In that game the Clewiston defense looked strong early on with Chauncy Cobb returning an interception for a touchdown. But special teams woes by the Tigers and a well balanced Cardinal Newman offense was too much to overcome. The Tigers game against First Baptist Academy is canceled due to the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. They'll next play on Oct. 14 at Lake Placid.
