Former Brahman hired to coach football at South Carolina high school

MONCKS CORNER, S.C.- Former Brahman Eric Lodge is taking another step in his football coaching career. Lodge was announced as the new head coach at Berkeley High School in South Carolina.

Lodge had been the head coach at Seminole High School in Florida since 2020. When he was announced as the head coach of that program, Lodge credited his time at Okeechobee, specifically guidance from Brahman coaches Chris Branham and Ty Smith, for giving him the foundation to get where he was.

During his first year as coach at Seminole, the team secured an undefeated season and a state championship title. Lodge managed a 32-5 record over three seasons, winning a Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year award in 2020.

“Very excited to join the Berkeley family,” said Lodge after the announcement. “Can’t wait to work with our boys and start building relationships.”
