Free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) giveaway at Bell Tower

On Saturday, Oct. 17, between the hours of 9 and 11 am, United Way of Lee, Hendry, Glades, and Okeechobee; in conjunction with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Bell Tower Shops, Lee County Government and the LCSO Animal Cruelty Task Force, will be providing PPE kits to all who attend.

United Way has partnered with Lee County Government to distribute PPE to the general public. United Way volunteers have been packaging the PPE items into kits which include one 16-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer (aloe infused), two fabric masks and four disposable face masks, along with additional information. The kits are intended for personal use only.

The distribution will be conducted in a drive-through manner with vehicles entering Bell Tower on the U.S. 41 (West side) entrance.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will direct vehicles along a designated path.
