Grace Place students entertain Top of the Lake Art Fest visitors

Posted

OKEECHOBEE -- Grace Place students entertain visitors to Festival of the Arts.  The students began dancing at 10:30 a.m. and continued until about 4 p.m. Even the wind and rain did not stop their performances.

This year, the festival was held in honor of Kathie Papasso, who for many years  participated in the Top of the Lake Art Fest and was a valued part of the Arts & Culture Alliance Committee. Her Art Family  in Okeechobee miss her. An Art Fund has been set up in her name for her love of Student Artists - "Papasso Art for Kids." Proceeds from the sale of her art went into the fund and was used to give studnets who participated in the art festival the art supplies they need to help them continue their art.
