Have you seen Kelley Sherman?

Posted

OKEECHOBEE — After five months, Kelley Nicole Sherman is still missing and considered endangered. Her family is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to a conviction and/or to the location of Kelley. Kelley was last seen on May 10 near 605 N.E. Park Street.

Kelley’s family loves and misses her very much. She has two young children, who just want their mother to come home. Her father last saw her on Mother’s Day, and her sister Amber said she normally hears from her regularly. As far as the family can tell, no one has heard from her — not her sisters, cousins, friends, boyfriend — no one has seen or heard from her in five months.

Detective Savanna Smith said Kelley may have made some bad choices sometimes, but she is a very good person, who is very family-oriented. She would never just take off without letting her family know where she was. “She has cousins and her father living here. She has sisters. The family is very concerned. It’s not like her to just not check in with her family. It’s not like her not to call her dad. She just wouldn’t get up and disappear.” Detective Smith went on to say Kelley has left Okeechobee in the past, but her family knew she was leaving, knew where she went and talked to her while she was gone. Kelley has also always been active on Facebook and other social media. She has never just disappeared before.

Detectives have run into problems because those with information are sometimes afraid to give them the information. Sometimes they have warrants themselves and don’t want to talk to the police, because they are afraid they will be arrested, BUT you can call and give the police the information anonymously.

If you have any information or know her whereabouts, contact Detective Savanna Smith at 863-763-9784 or Detective James Pickering at 863-763-9785, in reference to Case #200701009. You may contact Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 800-273-8477 and remain anonymous, and you may be entitled to a reward.

Kelly Nicole Sherman, 32, is a white woman with red or auburn hair and blue eyes. She is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 115 pounds.
