HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital earns award for sixth year in a row

OKEECHOBEE — HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital, a 100-bed acute care facility, and part of HCA Florida Healthcare, is honored to be awarded Healthgrades’ Patient Safety Excellence Award for the sixth year in a row.

In addition to the Patient Safety Excellence Award Raulerson was recognized for the following:
• Top 5% in the nation for patient safety for six years in a row (2018-2023);
• Top 10% in the nation for patient safety for six years in a row (2018-2023);

• Five-star recipient for hip fracture treatment for three years in a row (2021-2023);
• Five-star recipient for gallbladder removal surgery for two years in a row (2022-2023); and,
• Five-star recipient for treatment of diabetic emergencies in 2023.

To earn these recognitions, nearly 4,500 hospitals across the country are evaluated using objective quality measures, including clinical outcomes, patient safety, and overall patient experience.
