ORLANDO – The Electric Daisey Carnival returns to Florida’s Tinker Field in Orlando Nov. 11-13, with electronic dance music, carnival rides, costumed performers and art.
Insomniac, the event organizer, also hosts Okeechobee Music Festival in Okeechobee County on the first weekend in March.
For fans of EDM (electronic dance music) who enjoy Okeechobee Music Festival, EDC means more artists, bigger crowds and three days of heart-pounding excitement.
Consider, at capacity OMF attracts about 40,000 fans. EDC attracts upwards of 200,000 fans.
While OMF features a variety of music genres, EDC concentrates on bringing together top EDM artists, combined with phenomenal interactive works of art, full size carnival rides and costumed carnival performers. The scale of the festival is mind-boggling.
This year's lineup includes 12th Planet, 2AR B2B Haylee Wood, Above & Beyond and more.
