OKEECHOBEE — The Jim Rowe Quarters For A Cause fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, June 21 from 6 to 9 p.m., at the American Legion, 501 S.E. Second St.

James (Jim) Rowe recently lost his lower leg due to complications from type 2 diabetes. Jim and his wife live on a fixed income and going back and forth to doctor appointments, hospitals and therapists is getting costly. He is recovering well from the surgery; however, as he lives in a trailer it has also meant making physical changes to the trailer itself. The most recent was to switch out the tub for a walk in shower. All of this is starting to become a financial burden which can cause stress to his healing.

This family needs  help so please invite your friends and neighbors.
