Judge Wallace is appointed mentor to new judges

OKEECHOBEE -- Okeechobee County Judge William Wallace was appointed  as a mentor for new judges by the Supreme Court of Florida.

Judge Wallace received a letter on Nov. 12 informing him he was chosen. "Thank you for your service on the bench and willingness, as part of the judicial mentor program, to share the benefit of your experience with new members of the judiciary," read the letter written by Chief Justice Charles T. Canady.

The appointment will become effective after Judge Wallace completes mentor training. It will be effective until Sept. 30, 2023.
