Kids enter Poster Contest

OKEECHOBEE — The Okeechobee Soil and Water Conservation District Poster Contest is open to Okeechobee County students (public, private or home educated) grades kindergarten through 12th grade. The theme of the Poster Contest is “Healthy Soil, Healthy Life.” The entry deadline is March 1.

Posters, with entry forms affixed to the back, must be delivered to USDA Service Center, 452 U.S. 98 N., Okeechobee, FL 34972.

Cash prizes: First place is $30, second place is $20 and third place is $10 per category.
