OKEECHOBEE — North Elementary School kindergarten students are officially done with their letters Boot Camp! Each day, students learned about one letter of the alphabet from A to Z. They made posters, sang songs, practiced writing the letters, and made letter hats to help make connections from letters to words. Friends who are already reading cheered along all the way and helped the class come up with various words with each letter, each day. On Thursday, the school held Boot Camp graduation . Students sang the alphabet songs to parents and special visitors, and received a certificate for a successful completion of the Boot Camp. It was a great learning and teambuilding activity!
