Lake coalition meets Friday

OKEECHOBEE -- The County Coalition for the Responsible Management of Lake Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Caloosahatchee Estuaries and the Lake Worth Lagoon, will meet Friday, May 14 at 9 a.m. in the Historic Okeechobee County Courthouse, 304 N.W. Second Street.

The meeting will include an Ecosystem Resoration Overview by representatives of the South Florida Water Management District with opportunities for coalition members to ask questions.

The coalition will also discuss Legislative priorities.

At the end of the meeting, public comments will be accepted with a 3-minute limit per speaker.
