Thank you to our amazing community who values reading as much as we do at South Elementary! Purchasing the book vending machine would not have been possible without their generosity. We had a ribbon cutting ceremony on June 16 and cannot wait for all of our students to see it when they return for the 2021-2022 school year! Top readers in the school were invited to select new books from the machine.

Thank you to the following community members and businesses for your generous support:

Tire Zone, Beasts and Barbells, Amvet Post 200, Okeechobee Veterans Council, Taylor Transport, Buckhead Ridge Moose, Sons of Amvet Squadron, Amvet Post 2001, Buckhead VFW, Everglades Farm Equipment, Milking R Dairy, Bad Apple Salon, Tenniswood Dental, Davie Dairy, VFW of Okeechobee, TriggCo Designs, HW Rucks and Sons Dairy, A Child’s World, Costopoulus, Wilson, and Associates, Vet Foam Solutions, The Stakehouse, State Farm, Northlake Veterinary Hospital, Gro Logic, Schoonmaker Electric, The Purple Orchid, Brown Cow Sweetery, Buxton and Bass Funeral Home, JD Mixon, Eric Kogut, and Stu Taylor.
