OKEECHOBEE -- Two meetings to discuss plans for a stormwater treatment project between the Kissimmee River and the Lazy 7 Development will be held Tuesday, Aug. 29.
The first hour of each meeting will be an open house with opportunities to ask questions of staff involved with the project. A 30-minute presentation will follow, with more time for questions after the presentation.
The first meeting will be at 2 p.m. with the presentation at 3 p.m.
The second meeting will be at 5 p.m. with the presentation at 6 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at the Okeechobee Civic Center on U.S. 98.
