Melissa Arnold is new Okeechobee County Supervisor of Elections

OKEECHOBEE – Okeechobee voters chose Melissa Arnold as the county’s new Supervisor of Elections Tuesday night.

Arnold, a Republican, received 9,338 votes for 60.25%.

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the opportunity to serve as your next Supervisor of Elections!” Arnold stated Tuesday evening. “I sincerely appreciate everyone who has helped me along the way. I will do my best to propel Okeechobee forward with excellence and Christian values.”

Lisa Rodriguez, No Party Affiliation (NPA) received 5,396 votes for 34.82%.

Donna V. Howard, also NPA, received 764 votes for 4.93%.
