OCSO covers pumpkins

Posted

OKEECHOBEE --  Not only does the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office  give back to our community each and every day, but they really pulled through for for the Healthy Start Coalition this year during our annual diaper drive as well!

The staff and team members donated 700 diapers!! That will cover 14 little pumpkin's for an entire week or three to four little pumpkins for an entire month as the average number of diapers used per week depending on the age of the child is 50-70 per week.

Be on the look-out in the following weeks to see the total impact and number of diapers our community collected for us this year!

Executive Director Andrea Medellin stopped by Tuesday to collect the diapers and pose for a photo with Lindsey Carter and Denise Sikorski. Thank You Andrea and Healthy Start for all you do for our community!
