OKEECHOBEE - On July 6, Okeechobee County Sheriff Noel E. Stephen and Major Michael Hazellief presented Gene Fulford of Kissimmee Island Cattle Company with the Florida Sheriff's Association Platinum Business Membership Plaque. Fulford has been a lifetime sponsor of the FSA, and the sheriff was honored to present this plaque to a man he worked for over 35 years ago. "We applaud you, Mr. Gene. Thank you for your help for an amazing cause," said a representative from the sheriff's office.
