Posted

OKEECHOBEE -- Early Friday morning (Oct. 28),  members of the Okeechobee County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Task Force & Special Response Team, the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement served a probable cause search warrant at 2802 SE 39TH Avenue, Okeechobee.

During this investigation, suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia were found. As a result, William Christopher Moore, 40 and Kiersten Peterson, 27, were arrested for the paraphernalia.

Calina Kimla, 31, was arrested for the sale of Fentanyl on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, and was an active part of this investigation.

All three individuals were transported to the Okeechobee County Detention Facility for booking.

This probable cause warrant is a continued effort to fight those that choose to sell these dangerous drugs in our community and enforces our commitment to work with the community when we receive the tips.

If you would like to leave a tip or have any suspicious activity that you believe is drug-related, please call 863.763.7787 and leave a message at the beep.
