OCT announces return of season tickets

Posted

OKEECHOBEE -- With the rest of the world slowly returning to normal, so are the arts - both on the stages of Broadway and in one particular theatre a bit closer to home.

As their 43rd year begins, Okeechobee Community Theatre is pleased to announce that season tickets are returning for the 2022-2023 season. This season begins with the classic thriller, “Dial M for Murder” - based on the suspenseful Hitchcock film - with performances running each Friday and Saturday from Oct. 21 through Nov. 5.

OCT’s spring production is the uproarious comedy “Play On!” about the hilarity (and disasters) sometimes involved in putting on a show. Spring dates also include Fridays and Saturdays - from March 17 through April 1.

This season, all Friday performances will be held at 8 p.m. and each Saturday performance will be a 2 p.m. matinee.

Season ticket sales begin Monday, Aug. 8 and not only include discounted tickets to both performances, but come with the opportunity to choose the best seats in the house! Tickets will be available online at okeechobeecommunitytheatre.com. For those who prefer to pay by cash or check, in-person sales will be open at the offices of Okeechobee Main Street - Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sales will close at the end of the month.
