OKEECHOBEE- The Okeechobee High School boys and girls tennis teams beat Fort Pierce Central on March 4 at the Okeechobee County Sports Complex.

OHS tennis serves up wins over FPC

OKEECHOBEE- The Okeechobee High School boys and girls tennis teams beat Fort Pierce Central on March 4 at the Okeechobee County Sports Complex.
 
The win brings both teams to 3-1 on the season.
 
For the Brahman boys Peyton Johnson won 8-2, Chris Cobb won 8-2, Jacob Bass won 8-3, and Sam Melear won 8-6. Cobb and Johnson won at number one doubles, while Melear and Desel Arnold lost at number two doubles.
 
For the Lady Brahmans Isabella Derigo won 9-7, Kiersten Sales won 8-6, while Abby Holcomb and Lily Cobb battled but fell short Derigo and Sales won their doubles match.
 
Up next Okeechobee heads to take on Martin County on March 9 before coming back to host Port St. Lucie on March 11.
