The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Dittui Louis, 36, Stuart, was arrested Oct. 10 by OCSO and charged with possession of cocaine and introduction of contraband into a detention facility. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Mark Joiner, 32, Southeast 13th Avenue, was arrested Oct. 10 and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Jentry Griffin, 18, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Oct. 9 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,500.

• Martha Sherman, 56, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Oct. 9 by OPD and charged with uttering a forged document and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,250.

• Carlos Manzano Jr., 38, Northwest 40th Drive, was arrested Oct. 9 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine, trafficking in a controlled substance and tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $58,000.

• Edgerrin Billie, 20, Short Street, was arrested Oct. 8 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine, two counts possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of phenethylamines/10 grams or more. Bond was set at $130,000.

• Kiersten Petersen, 25, Southeast 39th Avenue, was arrested by OCSO Oct. 12 and charged with possession of Oxycodone. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Wender Roel Mendez Lopez, 19, Okeechobee, was arrested Oct. 12 by OCSO and charged with three counts lewd and lascivious battery on a victim between the ages of 12 and 15. Bond was set at $60,000.

• Elmer Smith, 44, Northwest 203rd Street was arrested Oct. 12 by OCSO and charged with causing bodily harm, aggravated stalking and two counts aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. Bond was set at $60,000.

• Jackie Bayless, 39, Eighth Street, was arrested Oct. 13 by OCSO on a Glades County arrest warrant for grand theft and fraud/illegal use of credit cards. Bond was set for $10,000.

• Elizabeth Turner, 35, Palm City, was arrested Oct. 14 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,750.

• Rene Sharpe, 57, Northwest Fourth Street, was arrested Oct. 14 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Glenn Baker, 35, Southwest Second Street, was arrested Oct. 14 and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.
