Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Jessie Gonzalez, 32, Northwest 47th Terrace, was arrested July 16 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and sale of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $80,000.

• Joshua Rosso, 25, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested July 16 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting an officer with violence and operating a vehicle without a license. During a traffic stop, Rosso reportedly hit and kicked deputies knocking one of them to the ground. Bond was set at $16,000.

• Chantal Robinson, 25, Fort Pierce, was arrested July 18 by OCSO and charged with two counts battery inmate on inmate. She is being held without bond.

• Frank Thomas, 63, Moore Haven, was arrested July 18 by OCSO and charged with DUI. His breath test results were below 0.08, and he was asked to give a urine sample but was reportedly unable to give one. Bond was set at $500.

• Joanna Kemp, 33, Southwest Ninth Lane, was arrested July 17 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Breath test results were reported to be 0.191 and 0.197. Bond was set at $1,500.

• Jordan Frazier, 20, Lakeland, was arrested July 17 by OCSO and charged with battery on detention staff. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Wesley Skinner, 25, Fort Meyers, was arrested July 17 by OCSO and charged with DUI and resisting arrest without violence. Skinner reportedly refused to give a breath sample. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Victoria King, 45, unknown address, was arrested July 19 by OPD and charged with aggravated battery and resisting arrest without violence. King reportedly struck a man multiple times with a screw driver. Bond was set at $21,000.

• Francisco Delato Jr., 22, Northwest 53rd Terrace, was arrested July 19 by OCSO and charged with three counts contempt of court. He is being held without bond.

• Michael Snipes, 34, Southeast 22nd Court, was arrested July 19 by OCSO and charged with violation of probation. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Juaquin Silvas, 46, Northeast 131st Street, was arrested July 20 by OCSO and charged with felony criminal mischief. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Breaira Smith, 22, Northeast 15th Avenue, was arrested July 20 by OCSO and charged with premeditated first degree murder. Bond was set at $100,000.

• Joseph Hawkins, 31, Arizona, was arrested July 19 by OPD and charged with three counts possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $20,000.
