Okeechobee Arrest Report

OKEECHOBEE -- The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Kyle Lanier, 35, Okeechobee, was arrested Sept. 26 by OCSO and charged with violation of a domestic injunction, violation of a domestic injunction with a firearm and violation of a court order/stalking. Bond was set at $12,500.

• Marshall Coker, 31, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Sept. 24 by OCSO and charged with DUI. He was released on his own recognizance.

• Xavier Simon, 17, Palatka, was arrested Sept. 24 by OCSO and charged with two counts felony criminal mischief and two counts battery on detention staff. Bond was set at $13,500.

• Andre Simmons, 39, Southwest 11th Drive, was arrested Sept. 27 by OPD and charged with aggravated assault. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Josue Ayala, 28, Northeast 26th Avenue, was arrested Sept. 27 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary, petit theft, criminal mischief and fleeing law enforcement with lights and siren active. Bond was set at $22,000.

• Dustin Day, 24, Okeechobee, was arrested Sept. 28 by OCSO and charged with intimidating a victim or witness and battery. Bond was set at $20,000. According to the arrest report, Day had been released from jail earlier that same day after being charged with domestic battery.

• Eilzabeth Rampey, 35, Dacula, Ga., was arrested Sept. 29 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $2,500.
