Okeechobee Arrest Report
The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Seaton Gwinn, 36, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Nov. 4 by OCSO on an out of state fugitive warrant. She is being held without bond.

• Austin Smith, 20, Northwest 21st Lane, was arrested Nov. 4 by OCSO and charged with grand theft of a firearm, possession with intent to sell, possession of marijuana resin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $16,000.

• Keith Woods, 59, Northwest 80th Avenue, was arrested Nov. 4 by OCSO and charged with possession of Fentanyl, driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Kristen Salamone, 45, Maple Street, was arrested Nov. 4 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Colton Garcia, 32, Northwest Sixth Street, was arrested Nov. 6 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Bond was set at $2,000.

• Matthew Abernathy, 26, South Carolina, was arrested Nov. 6 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Haley Carreon, 22, Fort Pierce, was arrested Nov. 7 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Frederick Holecek, 42, Northwest 82nd Court, was arrested Nov. 7 by OPD and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and shoplifting. Bond was set at $5,500.

• Melissa Smith, 37, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Nov. 8 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Dustin Day, 25, Center Street, was arrested Nov. 8 by OCSO and charged with two counts battery/inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $20,000.

• Devon Jones, 25, Southwest Fifth Street, was arrested Nov. 9 by OCSO and charged with two counts aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. Bond was set at $200,000.

• Dax Reed, 40, Indiana, was arrested Nov. 9 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Bond was set at $6,000.

• Cody Cooper, 26, Southeast 20th Court, was arrested Nov. 9 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Bond was set at $3,500.

• Nicholas Nuzum, 33, Port Charlotte, was arrested Nov. 11 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

•Edward Barsh Jr., 48, Northeast Eighth Avenue, was arrested Nov. 11 by OCSO and charged with intimidating or threatening a witness or victim. Bond was set at $10,000.

• Harvey Ridgeway, 73, Moore Haven, was arrested Nov. 12 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Rachel Lindley, 32, Southeast 95th Trail, was arrested Nov. 12 by OCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana resin, battery and possession of marijuana under 20 grams. Bond was set at $4,000.

• James Watson, 39, Northeast 28th Street, was arrested Nov. 12 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Judson Hair, 28, State Road 710, was arrested Nov. 12 by OCSO and charged with carrying a concealed firearm and DUI. Bond was set at $3,000.
