Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF). 

• Jonah Palomino, 20, Northwest 254th Street, was arrested July 14 by OCSO and charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a permit and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $4,500.

• Tyonne Frost, 20, Northeast 13th Avenue, was arrested July 15 by OCSO and charged with possession of ammunition by a delinquent adult. Bond was set at $50,000.

• Juan Hernandez-Hernandez, 37, Southwest Second Way, was arrested July 16 by OCPD and charged with DUI with property damage and driving without a license. Bond was set at $1,500.

• John Schoeffler, 44, Stuart, was arrested July 17 by OCSO and charged with battery of a law enforcement officer. Bond was set a t$2,500.


• Nicholas Hernandez Jr., 17, was arrested July 17 by OCPD and charged with fleeing law enforcement at high speed with no regard for safety. He was released on his own recognizance.

• Arturo Vieyra Rosales, 33, Northeast 10th Avenue, was arrested July 17 by OCPD and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman and child abuse without great bodily harm. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Tyler Jones, 35, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested July 18 by OSO and charged with possession of meth. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Jennifer Seifert, 28, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested July 18 by OCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Herid Betancourt, 49, Northeast Ninth Avenue, was arrested July 19 by OCSO and charged with two counts unarmed burglary, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $32,000.

• Eric Bronson, 35, Northwest 27th Avenue, was arrested July 19 by OCSO and charged with domestic battery by strangulation and trespass. Bond was set at $6,000. 

• Elise Dorvil, 46, Northwest 13th Street, was arrested July 21 by OCSO and charged with theft of motor vehicle. Bond was set at $25,000.

• Thomas Lowe, 38, Northwest 160th Street, was arrested July 22 by OCSO and charged with aggravated stalking. Bond was set at $25,000.

• Billy Bailey, 20, U.S. 441 S.E., was arrested July 22 by OCSO and charged with driving while license suspended with knowledge, fleeing with injury or damage, and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $6,500.

• Kolton Youngman, 18, Southeast 38th Trail, was arrested July 22 by OCSO and charged with home invasion with firearm or other deadly weapon. Bond was set at $250,000.

• Saul Mondragon, 20, Northwest 38th Avenue, was arrested July 23 by OCSO and charged with aggravated assault with possession of deadly weapon without intent to kill, and two counts of criminal mischief $200 or less.

• Catherine Webber, 38, Altamonte Springs, was arrested July 23 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Robert Davis, 40, Northeast 56th Avenue, was arrested July 24 by OCSO and charged with methamphetamine possession, possess and/or use drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, and introduction of contraband into detention facility. Bond was set at $12,000.

• Zachary Hunter, 25, Northwest 96th Court, was arrested July 24 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

• Lucas Mahoney, 16, Southeast 60th Drive, was arrested July 24 by OCSO and charged with breaking into unoccupied conveyance unarmed, and grand theft of $300 or more less than 5K dollars.

• Garry McNabb, 48, Southeast 46th Street, was arrested July 24 by PBSO and charged with DUI and property damage. Bond was set at $1,000.

This column lists arrests and not convictions, unless otherwise stated. Anyone listed here who is later found not guilty or has had the charges against them dropped is welcome to inform this newspaper. The information will be confirmed and printed.
