Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Kenneth Leitner, 33, Northwest 11^th Avenue, was arrested Oct. 27 by OCSO and charged with intimidation of a witness and battery. Bond was set at $5,000.
• William Moore, 41, Southeast 39^th Avenue, was arrested Oct. 27 by OCSO and charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
• Kiersten Peterson, 27, Southeast 39^th Avenue, was arrested Oct. 27 by OCSO and charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
• Joel Talavera, 34, Northwest 37^th Street, was arrested Oct. 27 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Bond was set at $1,000.
• Troy Booker, 43, Northeast 11^th Court, was arrested Oct. 28 by OCSO and charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and sale of fentanyl. Bond was set at $120,000.
• Joleen Robinson, 36, Southwest Third Street, was arrested Oct. 28 by OCSO and charged with purchase of fentanyl. Bond was set at $20,000.
• Troy Booker, 43, Northeast 11^th Court, was arrested Oct. 29 by OCSO and charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule III drug. Bond was set at $72,000.
• Jordan Rickard, 18, Northeast 11^th Court, was arrested Oct. 29 and charged with trafficking in oxycodone, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and two counts possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Bond was set at $130,000.
• Charlotte Craig, 46, Northeast 23^rd Way, was arrested Oct. 30 by OCPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,750.
• Crystal Harmon, 37, Kenansville, was arrested Oct. 30 by OCPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $11,000.
• Benji Patrick, 46, Okeechobee Motel, was arrested Oct. 30 by OCPD and charged with possession of cocaine, sale/manufacture or delivery of methamphetamine, possession of amphetamines with intent to sell, two counts contempt of court and criminal mischief. He is being held without bond.
• Gilberto Tagle, 28, at large, was arrested Oct. 30 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman. Bond was set at $10,000.
• Michael Daugherty, 46, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Oct. 31 by OCSO and charged with failure to register and failure to report change in vehicle ownership. Bond was set at $11,000.
• Margaret Proffitt, 38, West Palm Beach, was arrested Oct. 31 by OCSO and charged with DUI and driving without a license. Bond was set at $1,000.
• Jordan Rickard, 18, Northeast 11^th Court, was arrested Oct. 31 by OCSO and charged with grand theft of a firearm and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $30,000.
• Gilberto Tagle, 28, Southeast 98^th Trail, was arrested Oct. 31 by OCPD and charged with driving without a license/habitual offender.
• Mindy Phillips, 42, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Nov. 1 by OCSO and charged with two counts forgery and one counts altering a bank draft. Bond was set at $15,000.
• Billy Joe Simpson, 60, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Nov. 1 by OCPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine, attaching an unassigned tag and no vehicle registration. Bond was set at $6,500.
• Jeffory Williams, 55, Southeast 86^th Boulevard, was arrested Nov. 1 by OCSO and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $7,500.
• An unnamed 15-year-old boy was arrested Nov. 2 by OCSO and charged with arson, unarmed burglary and petit theft. He was turned over to DOJJ.
• William Arrieta, 59, Northwest 176^th Avenue, was arrested Nov. 1 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.
• Randy Lee Crane, 46, Clermont, was arrested Nov. 2 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.
• Luis Toj, 19, Southwest Ninth Street, was arrested Nov. 2 by OCSO and charged with criminal mischief and burglary. Bond was set at $7,500.
• Carlos Garcia, 45, Fort Pierce, was arrested Nov. 2 by OCSO and charged with escape. Bond was set at $10,000.
• An unnamed 16-year-old boy was arrested Nov. 2 by OCSO and charged with arson, unarmed burglary and petit theft. He was turned over to DOJJ.
• An unnamed 17-year-old boy was arrested Nov. 2 by OCSO and charged with arson, unarmed burglary and petit theft. He was turned over to DOJJ.
