Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Billy Joe Rodriguez Jr., 34, Southwest 10th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 11 by OCSO and charged with felony criminal mischief. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Keanu Chinlyn, 17, Margate, was arrested Jan. 11 by OCSO and charged with using a deadly weapon. Bond was set at $100,000.
  • Blake Sheltra, 36, Northwest 87th Court, was arrested Jan. 11 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $12,500.
  • David King, 29, Northeast 11th Street, was arrested Jan.11 by OCPD and charged with two counts sexual activity with a minor. Bond was set at $200,000.
  • Brandon Tansley, 34, Southeast 34th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 14 by OCSO and charged with two counts false imprisonment and two counts assault. Bond was set at $40,000.
  • Mark Wright, 54, address unknown, was arrested Jan. 15 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Janet Arnold, 62, Northwest 189th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 15 by OCPD and charged with grand theft auto. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Florencio Rangel, 16, Northeast Third Street, was arrested Jan. 16 by OCSO and charged with accessory after the fact in a second degree felony and tampering with evidence. He was transferred to the custody of the DOJJ.
  • Aaren Gancerez, 19, Northwest Third Street, was arrested Jan. 16 and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm in public, discharging a firearm from a vehicle and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bond was set at $105,000.
