Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Theodore Mayes Jr., 47, Southwest Ninth Street, was arrested March 20 by OCSO and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. Bond was set at $10,000.
  • Aaquil Abdul-Qawi Naji Moore-Muhammad, 19, Orlando, was arrested March 20 by OCSO and charged with fleeing without regard to safety, operating a motor vehicle without a license and grand theft auto. Bond was set at $16,000.
  • Jason Knapczyk, 28, Sarasota, was arrested March 20 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.
  • Nezzie Howling, 50, Southeast 94th Trail, was arrested March 23 by OCPD and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
  • Jaymarion Lawton, 19, Northwest Fifth Street, was arrested March 24 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, resisting arrest without violence, possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a specified area, possession of drug paraphernalia, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon, domestic battery by strangulation and interfering with a railroad track or equipment. Bond was set at $137,000.
  • Jeremy Nave, 42, Southeast 22nd Court, was arrested March 25 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia and petit theft. Bond was set at $12,000.
  • Dustin Villars, 18, Northeast 26th Avenue, was arrested March 26 by OCSO and charged with DUI and possession of alcohol by a person under the age of 21. Bond was set at $1,000.
