Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Mark Joiner, 34, Southeast Fourth Street, was arrested May 21 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $2,000.
  • Ely McKinister, 42, Port St. Lucie, was arrested May 21 by OCPD and charged with DUI/first offense. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Charlie Micco, 42, Northwest Third Street, was arrested May 21 by OCSO and charged with grand theft. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Aniya Gore, 22, Bigton Clan Road, was arrested May 22 by OCSO and charged with possession with intent to sell, driving on a suspended license and fleeing while lights and siren are activated. Bond was set at $21,000. Gore was also arrested on May 24 by OCSO and charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of   phenethylamines and possession of a schedule I drug. Bond was set at $260,000. She is also being held on a Glades County warrant for fleeing law enforcement and driving without a license/habitual offender.
  • Michael Lipman, 21, Northwest 34th Street, was arrested May 23 by OCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $112,000.
  • Charles Spiva Jr., 47, Northwest 32nd Street, was arrested May 23 by OCSO and charged with failure to appear on felony charges. Bond was set at $10,000.
  • Payten Wright, 22, Northwest 34th Street, was arrested May 23 by OCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $7,000.
  • Christine Adams, 54, Southeast 42nd Place, was arrested May 24 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine, DUI, driving without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $7,000.
  • Tyler Lytle, 23, Northwest 18th Street, was arrested May 24 by OCSO and charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of phenethylamines with intent to sell, possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $280,000.
  • Earl Thomas, 44, Southwest 10th Court, was arrested May 24 by OCSO and charged with unarmed burglary. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Paul Burnett, 50, Southwest Fifth Drive, was arrested May 22 by OCPD and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Charles Hullett, 50, Northwest 80th Drive, was arrested May 25 by OCSO and charged with domestic battery by strangulation and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $25,000.
  • Dinan Yanez, 27, Northwest 31st Avenue, was arrested May 25 by OCSO and charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, destruction of school property, refusal to leave school grounds. Bond was set at $8,500.
  • William Moore, 62, Southeast 38th Avenue, was arrested May 25 by OCSO and charged with grand theft and failure to stop after a crash involving injury. Bond was set at $3,000.
  • Altavis Symonette, 17, Northeast 168th Street, was arrested May 25 by OCSO and charged with introduction of contraband into a detention facility. He was transferred to the custody of the DJJ.
