The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Robert Jones, 63, Northeast Second Street, was arrested Jan. 14 by OCSO and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Vicente Espinoza, 25, Northeast 24th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 18 by OPD and charged with possession of cocaine. Bond was set at $2,500.

• Jeffrey Griffin, 27, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested Jan. 17 by OCSO and charged with aggravated battery inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $5,000.

• John Ambrefe, 63, Northeast 122nd Drive, was arrested Jan. 16 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Tracy McKinney, 41, Northeast Second Street, was arrested Jan. 16 by OCSO and charged with battery inmate on inmate. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Austin Harvey, 28, Northeast Sixth Court, was arrested Jan. 15 by OCSO and charged with DUI and violating drivers license restrictions. Harvey’s license had a restriction for business purposes only set on it. Bond was set at $50,000.

• Oscar Russ III, 22, Orlando, was arrested Jan. 19 by OCSO and charged with three counts felony contempt of court. He is being held without bond.

• Christopher Leitner, 49, Northwest 98th Street, was arrested Jan. 20 by OCSO and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $500.

• Melissa Swymn, 36, Southeast 23rd Court, was arrested Jan. 20 by OCSO and charged with possession of oxycodone and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,250.
