OKEECHOBEE – The Okeechobee County Commission will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Dec. 3 to consider extension of the Local State of Emergency in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The meeting will be held in the Historic Okeechobee County Courthouse, 304 N.W. Second Street, at 9 a.m.
The commissioners conduct a county briefing to receive an update on COVID-19 from the public safety director and county administrator as it relates to various scenarios and how it may impact the public, employees, and its operations.
